The second year of Harnessing the Extractive industries for Development will be held in Egham, England. Funded by ESRC, this one day interdisciplinary workshop will create space for PhD researchers, academics and practitioners to discuss the potential role of extractive industries in sub-Saharan African development.

MSV Managing Director Jeff Geipel will be a panelist in the evening, championing local content measures including through the use of the Local Procurement Reporting Mechanism (LPRM).
